We'll show you the best entry points, scenic routes, and where the real dune action is. Printed maps and GPS waypoints included.

The Raptor gets inspected and serviced between every rental. Fresh fluids, clean air filter, correct tire pressure for sand. No surprises.

Oceano Dunes SVRA is 10 minutes south of Pismo Beach on the Central Coast. Take Pier Avenue in Oceano straight to the beach entrance. We meet you near the Grand Avenue gate.
The SVRA charges a $5 day-use fee per vehicle. Open sunrise to 7 PM for driving. Riding season runs year-round but summer weekends book fast. Plan ahead.
Pismo Beach (10 min), Grover Beach (5 min), San Luis Obispo (20 min), Arroyo Grande (10 min). Plenty of places to eat, stay, and explore when you're done on the sand.
We pick up and drop off within 15 miles of the SVRA entrance. Hotels in Pismo, Grover Beach, and Oceano included. Further out? Just ask.

No. No. The Raptor is surprisingly easy to drive in sand once you know the basics. Our safety briefing covers tire pressure for dunes, how to use the locking rear diff, and driving techniques. First-timers are welcome and do great.
You're responsible for recovery during your rental. The safety briefing covers how to avoid getting stuck — proper tire pressure is the biggest factor. If you do get buried, other drivers on the dunes are usually happy to help pull you out. We strongly recommend having a friend with another vehicle nearby, especially on quieter days.

The rental is specifically for Oceano Dunes SVRA and the surrounding area. You're welcome to drive to nearby restaurants and your hotel. Extended use or trips beyond the Central Coast require prior approval.
Full refund if you cancel 48+ hours before your rental. Within 48 hours, we'll try to reschedule. No-shows forfeit the deposit. Weather-related cancellations are always fully refunded.
Send us your dates and we'll confirm availability. One truck means one renter at a time, so we recommend booking at least a week out. Summer weekends fill fast.
